Plant Table

Intercropping, or companion planting, is the practice of growing plants together that are mutually beneficial. For instance, legumes are nitrogen fixers, while squashes provide ground cover. Some plants also help to deter animals or insects away, or you can plant them on purpose to keep in one part of your yard, and away from other plants. Planning and arranging plants to optimise your garden can help to improve yield.

Today I've added some more information to the Plant Table I built a few years in a group project on interactive visualisations. The language is in Suomi (Finnish), you can use your browser's translator to translate the text in the tooltip into your preferred language. Hover over the square and the tooltip with appear.
